Jewelry that never went out of Fashion

History of mankind can be quite fascinating. Except for how technology has developed in all these years, we continue to live like we have always lived, right from the start of the human evolution. Both men and women have carried same tastes and preferences all throughout. They both have behaved in the same unique manner since always, having set likes and dislikes.

Jewelry is a perfect example for this. Right from the times of Roman Empire and other Asian civilizations like Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, we can see that women have always made an attempt to look pretty and more beautiful. Back then also they tried to achieve this by wearing conch jewelry. Not only in the ancient times, but we can find women belonging to various tribal cultures around the world being fond of conch body jewelry.

Labret studs were accepted and worn by women in the earlier times. They also exactly knew how to place them right near to the ear tunnels and express their individuality. The only difference that we can see between the times gone by and today is that earlier only women used them as ornaments, today even young teens like to wear them. And as opposed to yesteryears where jewelry was considered to be an area reserved for women, today even men are getting comfortable with the idea of wearing labret studs

Moreover, over the years we have also seen that conch body jewelry has been accepted more widely. Where on one hand only few people were comfortable with labret studs pierced through the ear tunnels, today it is the part of youth culture. In fact, not only the youth, many older women can even till date be found wearing conch body jewelry which may or may not be of labret studs style. No wonder, jewelry never has and never will go out of fashion.
